Credit card paydown planner

The balance on your statement is usually what gets reported to the credit bureaus, so timing matters as much as the amount. Enter your cards and see how much to pay on each one, and by when, to bring your reported usage down before you apply for a mortgage.

Not sent to us: your numbers never leave this device. A draft is saved only in this browser; Clear deletes it.

Step 1

Your cards

From each card's latest statement or app: the balance, the credit limit, and the day of the month the statement closes (the “closing date,” not the due date).

Card 1
Like “Store card.” Never the card number.
Card 2
Like “Store card.” Never the card number.
Step 2

Your goal

Start with 30%. Lower is generally better.
Keep enough for closing costs and reserves. Ask a lender before using savings.
Step 3

Your plan

Enter a balance and credit limit for at least one card.

For education only. This isn't credit repair or financial advice, and it can't predict a credit score: scoring models and lenders weigh many things besides card usage. The 30% and 10% targets are common guidance, not scoring rules. Nothing you type is sent to this site or anyone else; a draft is saved on this device until you choose “Clear.” Built by Martin Kurylowski, REALTOR®, Real Broker, LLC.
