Hi, I'm Martin

Why I teach these classes

I went to my first NACA workshop in February 2020, a month before our first child was born. By August I had my keys, about six months from start to finish, in more house than I expected to afford on a single income, in the neighborhood we wanted.

Nobody had told me that path existed. Most renters I meet haven't heard of it either, and the ones who have usually heard half the story. So I run short, free classes that give the whole picture: what NACA and other programs offer, what they ask of you, and what to do first.

I went through NACA again for our next home, but stopped short of buying because that house was over NACA's purchase limit at the time. That's part of why I'm straight with people about both sides, and why I'll tell you when another path fits you better.

How I work

• Education first. You're free to work with any agent and any lender, or none.
• I'm a past NACA buyer and referral partner, not a NACA employee. NACA makes its own decisions.
• I'll only follow up if you ask me to.
